Research at LIWA

LIWA favours multidisciplinary research. The facilities offered within the Institute are multifaceted, with research being conducted in the areas of biochemistry, cell biology, pharmacology, genetics, epidemiology, physiotherapy and molecular biology. In addition, the Institute has a dedicated Clinical Trials Unit.

The Institute has two research divisions: Biological Sciences and Clinical Sciences. There are number of Units that sit under the two divisions, they are:
