STUDENT OPPORTUNITIES

Supporting the careers of young scientists is one of the key aims of LIWA. 

Each year the Institute accepts a number of Hons, BMSc, Masters and PhD students to undertake their qualification on a project within the Institute’s research units.

Students at LIWA are included in all aspects of LIWA’s activities including internal weekly research meetings, seminars and social events.  They receive extensive support and encouragement from senior scientists with a strong track record of student project supervision.

To assist and encourage students the Institute has a generous scholarship program and a number of exciting opportunities for further study are being offered each year to exceptional applicants.
